Meeting Moms
But just like every relationship, be it straight or controversial, these two people always want to take their relationship to the next level. And more often than not, that next level is a nerve-racking event called - meeting the parents. But in the world "we" live in, it is mostly meeting the mom.
Yes folks we've been through that. He introduced me to his mom and I introduced him to my mom as well (brother even included) *smiley face*
But it was not nerve racking at all. In fact, both our moms are very charming and accommodating that we never felt nervous at all, well, except prior the meeting. *grins*
No words need be uttered about the relationship but I think my mom already gave me her blessing when before taking our flight, she looked at him and then mom smiled a knowing smile at me.
I guess that's just what it takes. You don't really need to literally confirm it with your mom. All it takes is that one smile that says " Go for it son. You are lucky to have him and so is he. I love you both and you have my blessings".
I love you mom.
I love you babe.

Vino
Was talking to Jepoy just this morning (uhm actually more like tweeting with Jepoy). Jepoy is a good friend na nakilala ko in my 2 months to date dito sa twitter world. Nag tweet kse siya ng THIS IS IT!!!! PLS PRAY FOR ME. Siyempre me being the concerned friend as always sent him a message asking what the tweet is for, kala ko kse baka meron siya sakit or something. LOL.But Jepoy said its for a job he applied for, second job actually. I thought he was gonna say its because he wanted to earn extra but the reason he gave totally surprised me ... he wanted to be busy as he wanted to forget "something" or "someone".
Thus our talk about love and life.
Jepoy said baka daw meron pa siya makita dun sa bago niyang work if ever, baka daw makahanap din siya ng life partner tulad ko.
And I told Jepoy na dapat hindi ganyan. Siguro for others its true na hinahanap, ganyan. But for me, sabi ko kay Jepoy, hindi ako naghanap, hindi nga ako nag expect e and alam yan ni @jzeguion ( o ayan kapatid meron ka cameo role dito sa blog ko hehehe). Kusa lang dumating kaya siguro sobrang masaya ako. :)
Sabi ko pa kay Jepoy e wag hanapin ng sobra sobra at baka iba pa mahanap niya. Don't rush.
And Jepoy replied something like " masarap ang bulalo kapag matagal. pinakuluan. mas malasa. mas katakam takam. hehehe".
And I said " Tama. Parang aged to perfection lang."
And humaba pa ang kwentuhan kse sabi ni Jeps gusto daw niya mag general cleaning, mag linis ng sistema. Sabi ko naman tama lang naman, wala naman masama sa pag ooverhaul. Pero wag naman totally linisin ang past, kse sa past madami din tayo natutunan diyan, may wisdom na na gain and the past also made us who we are today. Sabi nga, ang taong hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay meron stiff neck. LOL.
Our talk made me realize a few things about my past. Maybe the few relationships I've had in the past didn't work out because talagang kinarir ko ang paghahanap. So parang napilitan lang ba yun or something? Kaya ba hindi nag work out kse nag rush ako noon?
And now that I have this something very very special that I didn't expect, ito na kaya ang sinasabi nilang fate? Destiny?
There may be lots of questions right now but if there is one thing I am sure of, it is that I LOVE my babe very much. And everyday I thank God for sending him to me. For being my angel. I am one lucky bloke to have him in my life. So long as I am with my babe I won't mind the wind and weather, as long as we walk the road together.
So here's to taking it day by day. And nurturing that love within us. And as each day bears witness to what we share, let time age our love to perfection. Cheers!
I love you babe. :)

Fairy Tales and Me
I have always been an old school romantic. I grew up watching and reading fairy tales. So that explains my being the happily ever after type. The type who believes that prince charming will come riding on a white steed, all proud and strong and brave, while singing " I know you, I've walked with you once upon a dream ..."
LOVE.
My love for fairy tales and anything love story made me view love as something very, very special. It is something that encompasses everything. Like magic it can cure anything - revive someone after eating a poisoned apple or even bring someone back to life after sleeping for a hundred years. It made me believe that Love is pure and that with Love anything is possible.
YOU.
And then YOU came along. Like the plot in my childhood fairy tales, you came. My very own Prince Charming. My prince who will vanquish the evil witch or kill the horrible dragon. Who will sweep me off my feet. Dance with me in the castle and bring out the glass slipper which I left while trying to catch my 12 midnight curfew. ( So gay I know! LOL).
From a far-away kingdom you came. You sprung out from the fairy tale books and into my reality. There was no white steed but boy were there songs ... lots of songs as if being sung by the fairies above. The minute I saw you was like magic. And when you held me in your arms I felt that same feeling I have always felt every time I'm with my childhood fairy tales ... a feeling of that pure, cosmic, divine, all-encompassing Love.
And like Cinderella and Aurora, and Snow White, I now know what it feels like having my own happily-ever after.
I Love You my great prince :)

Bottled Water
May 11, 2011 - bought flowers and a love card from national bookstore. Body scrub, manicure and pedicure (LOL), and haircut. Even bought a new polo shirt. O d b all out preparation hahahaha. I remebered it to be a very restless, hectic day. 5 days of a few hours to no sleep at all because of the excitement to finally see you. Got stranded in Marinduque and went all crazy thinking that I wont be able to fetch you at the airport. Was contemplating on swimminga ll the way to Quezon despite the storm or contacting the coast guard and pouring out to them my love story just so they would take pity on me and let me ride their boat back to Manila. LOL again.
Dropped by at the hotel, asked the front desk to put the flowers and the card inside the room. Went straight to the airport after and waited with much anticipation for your flight.
May 11, 2011, 10:22 pm. Touchdown. And just a few minutes after I saw you walking along the arrival area with your all-too-familiar cap and glasses - the look I so love about you.
And then there we were, hugging each other. And I hugged you so tight, not minding the people around.
Got the car, and we went straight to the hotel.
That night was HEAVEN. The hugs. The kisses. The words I so long to hear. Everything was just bliss.
And as you drink the mineral water we bought before you slept (for a few minutes =) ), I was just staring at you and thinking, thanking for quenching the thirst in me for the kind of love I have always wanted. Thank you babe. I Love You. :)
